Outreach Ministries: The Community Outreach Ministry coordinates and hosts several events and services throughout the year. These events include: the Love Feast, EbenezerFest, Children's Easter Egg Hunt, Job Fairs, and Voter Registration Drives. In addition to these events, we provide the following services: Feed the Homeless and Needy through the Crisis Closet, Provide Clothing and Health Screening at various times throughout the year, Provide Free Haircuts, Collaborate with St. Luke Episcapol Church for I Have A Dream Project, and coordinate the Angel Tree Project.
The Concord Service Group members and community friends volunteer at The Georgia Dome and Philips Arena to generate funds for our "Special Projects" such as monthly lunches to Common Grounds Aids Ministry and Book Awards to high school seniors entering College and Technical School.
Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church’s Crisis Closet is opened on each Saturday to help meet the nutritional needs of individuals and families who are in need of groceries. The Ebenezer Crisis Closet is one of the partnering agencies with the Atlanta Community Food Bank that serves over 600 non-profit agencies in 29 metro and north Georgia Counties. The Crisis Closet provides over 2500 pounds of groceries each month.
"I Have a Dream" - A. D. Williams Chapter (IHAD), seeks to motivate and empower its program youth to reach their potential and achieve their education and career goals. It is a licensed chapter of the national "I Have a Dream" Foundation.
Ishmael’s Promise is a collaboration between the Ebenezer Baptist Church Deacon Board and several other organizations providing an important mentoring program for males and females primarily between the ages of 17 and 24.
