There is no greater moment than when parents sense that children are a gift from God. In these joyful moments, our Baby Dedication Ministry has the privilege of sharing with the parents how they can express their full appreciation to God through baby dedication.
Member Services staff at Ebenezer assists members in their activities as they become members and through their on-going members at the church. The staff servers as a point of contact where both members and visitors can obtain needed information related to the church.
The In Sympathy Ministry serves to provide sympathy expressions for the loss of members, family, and friends of Ebenezer.
The New Members Training Class is a series of four classes that are each held for approximately an hour. During the class, members of the ministerial staff and the lay leadership meet with new members to discuss issues of the faith, to examine the history and operation of Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church (HEBC), and to assist new members in identifying their unique spiritual gifts.
The Pastoral Care/Mental Health Support Ministry endeavors to provide care and attention to those within and beyond this congregation, meeting mental and spiritual challenges by offering a ministry of compassion, hospitality, and support for those suffering with mental illness, cancer, addiction, grief and loss, or in need of children/youth support.
Would you like someone to pray with you or for you? Or, would you like to find opportunities to pray for others? The prayer ministry is here to assist you in your prayer needs.
Each Sunday, along with it's members, hundreds of visitors – from around Auburn Avenue and around the globe – stop by Ebenezer or connect with us via our digital church Ebenezer Everywhere to experience its history and to join the church as it strives for Higher Ground. The doors are open to all who will come. Whoever you are, you are welcome at Ebenezer.
