The Men’s Chorus of Ebenezer Baptist Church is a highly acclaimed choral group of Christian, Spirit-filled Men that was formed in the early 1980’s. In 1985, this singing aggregate was officially renamed The J. L. Roberts, Jr. Men’s Chorus in honor of our then Senior Pastor, and now Pastor Emeritus Rev. Dr. Joseph L. Roberts, Jr. Under the spirited and talented leadership of Director Maurice Seay for nearly 30 years, The Men’s Chorus has developed a diverse musical repertoire of spirituals, anthems, and traditional and contemporary gospel. The Chorus is characterized by its passion for excellence, its dedication to spirituality, its stirring musicality, and its strong spirit of brotherhood and unity, which provides the foundation of its singular commitment and focus - singing to the Glory of God.
